Concrete pump

A concrete pump is a construction machine for injecting a concrete mix to the place of its installation through a concrete pipe line. By design, B. are distinguished by single and two-cylinder, by the type of drive - crank and hydraulic. In B. of both types, the piston sucks the concrete mixture from the pump hopper with the discharge valve (valve) closed and the suction valve open, and pushes the mixture back into the concrete pipe. Hydraulically driven, compared with a crank, have a long piston stroke in the working cylinder and a constant piston speed, which ensures a uniform movement of the concrete mix, reduced resistance to the movement of the mix in the water guide and the power of the electric motors. In the USSR, B.s are produced with a capacity of 5, 10 and 40 m3 / h, feeding the concrete mix vertically up to 40 m and horizontally up to 300 m. The set of B. equipment includes a pipe line from individual pipes with quick-disconnect connections.
