This is an imitation of trees of tropical forests, on the trunks and branches of which numerous epiphytes settle. Choose a vertical snag, strengthen it in a container with plaster or stones - straight or slightly oblique. Ground cover and climbing plants are planted or dropped in separate pots into a container at the foot of the snags, and as they grow they will braid the trunk of the "tree". On the snag, in hollowed holes or hollows, bromeliads, ferns, orchids, and many ampelous plants are placed — they are most often planted in plastic pots intertwined with moss. At the ends of the snag, you can arrange a usiliform tillandia ("Louisiana moss"), which forms gray-green strands hanging down, and does not need watering.
