Constructivism in interior design

  Constructivism in interior design

Constructivism appeared in the late twentieth century. The emphasis is on the functionality and rationality of the room. The colors are concise and clearly rational. A distinctive feature of constructivism in design are well-thought-out functional solutions and strict adherence to their requirements, compact volumes with a clearly identified framework. The emphasized clarity and simplicity of forms are combined with asymmetry and eccentricity of the overall design. Be sure the abundance of embedded technology. No “extra” items of furniture are allowed. Proven proportions, the use of reinforced concrete, brick, glass. Lack of stucco decoration. Indoors division into zones is carried out in an abstract way, most often at the expense of light mobile partitions. No corridors, closed spaces - everything is clear, functional.
