Plaster construction of buildings and structures designed to protect against the harmful effects of atmospheric, mechanical and chemical effects, to reduce the sound and thermal conductivity of structures for the decoration of exterior and interior surfaces. Plaster protects the structure from dampness, weathering, increases the sanitary and hygienic conditions of the premises, increases the fire resistance of the structures. Plaster called applied in a plastic state on the surface of the finished layer of the solution, leveled, compacted and subsequently solidified.
Plasters classification.
Plasters are divided into the following three areas:
by the type of binders - cement, lime, cement-lime, lime-gypsum, lime-clay;
in terms of complexity , simple (for finishing auxiliary and warehouse premises), improved (for finishing living quarters, trading halls, educational institutions) and high-quality (finishing of museums, theaters, administrative and office buildings and premises);
for its intended purpose - ordinary, decorative and special (for additional protection from external adverse factors).
