If you purchase a plant in the store, then keep in mind that it is planted in a temporary transport soil, which must be replaced.

Choose a new soil should be taking into account the structure and acidity of the soil your new pet needs.

Repotting plants do not earlier than 5-7 days after purchase, and at this time put the plant in partial shade, do not rearrange and do not twist the pot with the plant, let it get used to the new house.

Do not forget to slightly moisten the soil substrate.

When transplanting, you should pick up a pot 5–8 cm in diameter larger than the former, it is unacceptable to transplant the plant immediately into a very large pot, even if in the future it should grow into a very large specimen. The plant will not be touched for a long time until it has mastered the whole earthen room, and forget about blooming at once.

If you purchased a flowering plant, then instead of transplanting, when almost the entire soil is replaced, you can only do transshipment, leaving an earthy bed and filling up with fresh soil. By the way, if you purchased the plant in autumn or winter, only transshipment is allowed.

At the bottom of the pot be sure to put a drainage of pebbles or expanded clay for air exchange and to avoid acidification of the soil.
