Avant-garde is a bright, bold direction that breaks with tradition and standard thinking. This style became a sign of the revolutionary aspirations of young people of the early 20th century, and at the same time, the avant-garde also appeared as a peculiar cultural and aesthetic challenge, claiming to create a new art. That is why such a designation of a new direction was chosen - “avant-garde”, which meant “going ahead” or “forward detachment”. Avant-garde operates with pure colors - white, black, red, yellow, green. In one room several contrasting colors can be used at the same time, which will contribute to the dynamics and expression. Moreover, the contrast can occur not only between the walls, the floor and the ceiling, but also in the color finish of the walls. For decoration of the interior in the style of Avant-garde, the latest finishing materials are used: glass wall covering, decorative plaster, metallized wallpaper, new paint and varnish compositions, laminated coatings, etc.
Furniture must also be a kind of experiment. The form can be strictly geometric, with clear contours without unnecessary details. Avant-garde avoids small decor and decoration. Furniture made of metal, wood, glass is perfect for the interior. Along with clear forms and structures, absolutely shapeless objects, such as huge cushion chairs, will look particularly impressive.
In the spirit of avant-garde - unthinkable designs - hanging beds or low beds without legs.
