Mortar mixers, mortar pumps and other machines should be installed on wooden and steel frames and secured with through-bolts. For proper operation, they are installed strictly horizontally.
All moving and rotating parts must be fenced. The power supply wires must be insulated and suspended at a height of 2.5 m from the floor level. If the wires are located below, they are placed in metal pipes rigidly fastened to each other.
Knife switches and fuses are installed in a vertical position and closed with lockable covers.
Breaker shields, rheostats, electric motors and machines with individual electric motors are grounded.
Workplaces should be well lit.
Before starting work, machines and mechanisms are checked at idle. Troubleshoot and lubricate the machine is allowed if it is completely off.
In the event of a machine malfunction, stop working immediately.
Prior to the start of work, the plasterer inspect the hoses, eliminate all kinks and kinks, test the alarm between the plasterer and the machinist of the mortar pump. The signals supplied by the plasterer, the driver is obliged to perform without question.
During operation, it is strictly forbidden to bend the hoses, since even with a slight fracture of the hose, an increased pressure is created in the solution pipe, as a result of which it may break. It is allowed to carry hoses only after stopping the mortar pump.
Before the break, unscrew the nozzle and clean it and the hoses. When flushing the hose, only those workers who are engaged in this operation should be in the room. Do not stand against the hose, as this is dangerous. After completion of work, it is necessary to clean and rinse the hoses and nozzle and lubricate it to prevent rusting. The tip of the nozzle is allowed to clean only after disconnecting the nozzle itself or the machine as a whole and always after relieving the pressure in the pipes or hoses.
If the work is carried out in two shifts, then the plasterer and the driver, transferring the work to the next shift, are obliged to warn them about all the malfunctions of the mechanisms.
The driver monitors the pressure in the mortar pump and when the pressure rises above normal, immediately switches off the pump.
In winter, after work, water is drained from the cylinders of the mortar pump and hoses.
At the end of the work shift, the plasterer must remove his workplace and hand over the changer or close mechanisms and other accessories in the storeroom. He should inform the managers and technical personnel of the construction about the observed faults.
