Painting work includes painting of various wooden, plastered, stone, concrete and metal surfaces. The essence of painting work is coloring with color and colorless formulations, on drying of which a film is obtained. It gives an elegant look, protects metals from corrosion, wooden structures from fire, all painted elements from chemically aggressive environments, improves the sanitary and hygienic conditions of premises use. Painting is also produced for decorative and artistic decoration of the interior and exterior of buildings, it protects against premature wear and increases the service life of buildings and structures.
In the technological chain of construction works, painting is carried out last (after plastering and facing), with the exception of scraping and rubbing (varnishing) parquet floors, laying linoleum, installing electrical and sanitary fittings.
There are the following main types of paint - lime, glue, casein, oil, enamel, emulsion and paint varnishes. The last type of painting is used for final finishing of already painted surfaces, and in addition to varnishing it also includes polishing of the indicated surfaces. The types of colors for each room are set by the project, and the painting works themselves are carried out according to samples approved by technical supervision. Painting compositions and semi-finished products for painting in the form of concentrates, pastes, briquettes and dry mixes are prepared in a mechanized way in factories or in procurement workshops. At the work site, it is only allowed to bring the compositions to the working viscosity, which provides surface coverage without draining of the compositions and without noticeable traces of the brush.
Before painting, glazing is performed, the heating system is installed and started. Interior finishing is carried out at a room temperature not lower than +10 ° C and a relative humidity of not more than 70%.
