In March, the real spring comes for indoor plants. The days are getting longer, the nights shorter, and finally the equinox comes. Sunlight is already enough, in light-loving plants, after cutting off weak winter shoots, recovery and rapid growth begins. For the formation of new branches, plants need a large amount of mineral salts and water, so in March transplants are carried out, fertilizing is restored, and watering increases.
In the first month of spring, flowering bulbs will also end. Cyclamen, primrose, hypeastrum and clivia continue to bloom.
In April, the days are longer than night and sunny weather often stands. The living conditions of indoor residents are continuously and rapidly improving, and at the same time they intensify the growth and development of plants. Cyclamens bloom, begonias, geraniums and roses bloom.
May is the last spring month. Long and warm days are favorable for growth and flowering. Therefore, the flowering plants are already exposed in the afternoon to the open air in order to give them as much sunlight as possible, but they are removed to their rooms at night to protect them from night frosts.
Nevertheless, the main spring problem of indoor flower growing lovers is the reproduction of their favorite plants.
