In the production of concrete work in winter conditions, factors appear that present additional sources of danger for workers:
· Increased voltage (up to 380V) during electric heating and heating of structures;
· Formation of ice;
· bad visibility;
· Low temperature, etc
· Chemically hazardous substances.
Therefore it is necessary to know and strictly comply with the requirements of safe work. When electric heating of concrete and reinforced concrete structures, the working area is equipped with a protective fence, installed at a distance of at least 3 m from the heated elements, with a blocking system, light and sound alarms, lighting in the dark, as well as provide warning posters. In wet weather, it is allowed to measure the temperature of concrete under tension only in rubber shoes and gloves. Touching thermoactive formwork is prohibited.
In wet weather and during a thaw, all types of electric heating of concrete in open air cease.
