General provisions.

The term "organization" included in the name of the discipline has

multiple interpretation, which in particular defines:

- analysis of the structure, composition or structure of something;

-the combination of people or groups united to achieve a goal on the basis of certain principles;

-processing a device or ordering something.

Construction is one of the types of production, the tangible result of which is the creation, reconstruction, restoration and technical re-equipment of immovable objects. Thus, the subject of study discipline

"The organization of construction production" is the analysis of existing and the creation of new production systems, focused on the production of finished construction products.

In modern construction a hierarchical system has been formed, determining the place of construction production. The top of the existing hierarchy is the building complex, which is determined by the combination of production and non-production enterprises and organizations (contract construction organizations, construction industry enterprises, design organizations, consulting firms, etc.).

In this system, construction production is determined by the joint activity of production and non-production organizations of the construction complex and is implemented through the direct organization of construction processes aimed at the production of finished construction products and the provision of related services. From this it follows that the construction industry is the main (primary) object of management, the functioning of which is directly related to the release of finished construction products.

Construction organizations have a capacity determined by the volume of products and services provided, calculated either through a cash meter, or through the use of a natural meter. As a rule, construction facilities require the involvement of the capacities of many construction organizations for a period of time, which is determined by the relevant agreement (contract). Therefore, the total portfolio of orders of a construction organization is determined by the combination of its own and attracted capacities.

In modern economics, construction results are considered as the implementation of a certain project or its part and is defined as the creation or restoration of fixed assets. The implementation of construction projects is provided by two (to some extent controversial) approaches.

According to the first approach, the capacity of the construction organization is taken as the basis for planning, and under this capacity, a portfolio of orders for the production of the corresponding construction products is formed. The main feature of this approach is that the capacity of the construction organization over time is relatively constant, and the composition of the work and facilities is dynamic, i.e. varies in time. This approach is more focused on the organization of construction in the contracting organizations. It is covered in the disciplines "Organization of construction production" and "Organization of construction".

According to the second approach, the construction object and its further operation are taken as the basis for planning. and under this implementation it is planned to attract the necessary capacities of construction and operating organizations. This approach is more focused on the organization of construction from the perspective of the customer-developer, and it, first of all, is the subject of study of the discipline “Management of investment construction projects
