The most important methodological task of sketching is to teach the student a systematic approach. Analysis, evaluation and synthesis, reasoning from the particular to the general and from the general to the particular, play a role in sketching. A sketch is always a generalization; its structure is unstable until a fundamental decision is made. Sketching cannot be viewed as a continuous process; it combines the unity of continuous and discontinuous. It is enough to change one of the initial conditions, to give more importance to one of the factors, as the chain of sketching decisions is interrupted and a new proposal arises that differs from the initial one - the model is restructured. The formulation of a particular problem, the answer to which will be a new sketch, enlivens and directs the thinking and creative search of the student. If the old topic is exhausted and the result is not achieved, the teacher has the right to support the new direction of the search.
The new sketch goes through the same stages of the emergence and consolidation of the decision. At the same time, the didactic use of primary sketching affects.
Strengthening the sketch takes several weeks. During this period, additional information is collected, a concept is formulated, and, if necessary, an advance clause is performed. At the final stage of sketching, a student and a manager choose a conceptual solution that satisfies the most important requirements of the program and contains a specific concept. The student performs a sketch of the project in all major projections, on a reduced scale compared to the final project.
Sketches of projects are exposed for viewing. This allows students to see the advantages and disadvantages of their work in comparison with the sketches of their comrades, and teachers can more accurately assess the relative quality of the decisions. Approval of the sketch and its evaluation is an important design stage. Leaders conduct a discussion of the sketches from the standpoint of the potential possibilities of their creative development.
An approved sketch is the result of a creative search and programming of further actions to improve and streamline the solution in the stage of creative development.
