The technique gives educational design the character of a single creative process, corresponding to the specifics of the architect. Whenever a transition from one state to another is required, a design problem arises. Most design problems have a huge number of solutions. Training of students in a group and a course is based on this - one program receives as many individual solutions as students. The same task “at the entrance” gives different answers “at the exit”. Project tasks are usually formulated as general requirements that must find a solution in the process of creative search for a project model.
Since the study architectural design problem is more than finding a single solution, it becomes necessary to find the preferred method to achieve the desired result. Such a method is a method of modeling in various forms.
Graphic modeling is the creation of sketches, drawings, diagrams, sketches and drawings, reflecting the state of the object award models in the design process for individual stages.
The subject modeling or prototyping consists in the volumetric-spatial expression of our ideas about the original in the layout material and serves to refine, develop and test these ideas.
Logical and mathematical modeling serves to create quantitative models, involves measuring the components of an object and the presence of evaluation criteria, displays the dependencies between components in the form of formulas, equations, and logical conditions in order to optimize design solutions.
In accordance with the dynamics and regularities of the creative process, the methodology proposes a structural model of educational design modeling, which reflects the modeling procedure, the development mechanism of the design model, and the temporal relationship of sequential step-by-step solution of the design problem.
In the closed cycle of design modeling three main, qualitatively distinct and interacting stages are singled out: preparatory or pre-design stage; the stage of creative search and the stage of creative development [3] (scheme 3).
Scheme 3.
Each stage in the development of an educational project corresponds to a certain structural level of the organization of the model and its orderliness: the preproject stage corresponds to the formulation phase of the target; the stage of creative search contains three structural levels —klausur, sketch-idea and primary sketch; stage of creative development - the phase of the consolidation of the sketch and its development. Between the stages set temporary boundaries. The final stage of the educational process is to evaluate the work, summarize and discuss the results.
Phases are divided into stages, local and relatively independent operations, each of which is a didactic unit of the design modeling procedure. If for drawing up the working schedule of design it is enough to determine the dates of execution of the stages and phases, then for programming and managing the project activity it is necessary to determine the purpose of each activity in accordance with the division of the process into stages (diagram 4) or operations logically and structurally interrelated.
