  4 Preparatory and methodological stage

The preparatory pre-project phase contains two links: the collection of information and its methodological processing.

By information received by a student, we mean the knowledge that serves as the basis for making a practical decision. The educational process is characterized by reproduction, storage and transmission of information. Information exists where there is diversity and difference. The design process depends on the stock: information acquired by the student in the development of scientific and technical disciplines; the operational information that it receives as a result of an independent search in the pre-project methodological period, and the operational information received during the design itself from teachers involved in the complex AP process. The student is a self-learning system, and each received message changes its ability to perceive subsequent messages.

At the preparatory stage, the student receives answers to the question - WHAT to design - from the program, methodical instructions and as a result of methodological analysis; WHERE to design - from the proposed situation or as a result of an independent choice of a place for an object; HOW to design - is solved in the creative act, which contains the process of searching for ideas and design and at successive stages [4] (Diagram 6).

Information activities permeate the entire learning process.
